German Jewish Research

I have done much research on my grandfather’s German Jewish roots and am grateful to FamilySearch.org for micrfilming the Munich synagogue records and to Rolf Hoffman for his research in Moenchsdeggingen now housed at the Leo Baeck Institute in New York City. I am also thankful to the website jewishgen.org where I found many distant relatives and built a site to commemorate the Jewish community of Floss, Bavaria.

I have a number of posts here and even more on my family history site about the Thannhausers.
